BAM! It's Vegan: AAAS Family Recipes

Ingredients
3/4 cup pine nuts - toasted for nuttier flavor, or substitute with cashews for a creamier/cheesier flavor (allergy-free: substitute with sunflower seeds)
2 ½ cups of basil leaves, packed
2 - 4 garlic cloves (roast in advance if you’d like)
2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
2 tablespoons of vegan parmesan (you can also skip this and double up nutritional yeast)
2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice, plus ½ teaspoon (or more) lemon zest
½ teaspoon salt
1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup of water (or more)
Fresh ground pepper
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a blender or a food processor, and viola!
Special Notes
Cook some pasta, top your pizza or mix in to your salad for some added flavor.
