Placement & Assistance

At this time, Arthur’s Acres Animal Sanctuary is unable to take in additional pigs or other rescued animals. When we consider a rescue, we carefully assess our emotional, physical, and financial capacity to ensure we can provide lifelong care. While we wish we could help every animal in need, our priority is to honor our commitment to provide the best possible care for those already in our sanctuary.

However, we are still here to help! If you are looking for placement options or resources, we encourage you to reach out to organizations dedicated to helping pigs and other rescued animals either remain in their homes or find safe, loving homes.

Vischer Ferry Pig Center

The Vischer Ferry Pig Center is dedicated to preparing people to adopt, foster, rescue and give sanctuary to companion pigs; providing resources to keep pigs in their homes, and preserving the relationship between companion pigs and their families.

Eastern Snouts

Eastern Snouts works with Pig Placement Network and other rescues, sanctuaries and individuals to help place pigs in need into great homes. They offer adoption services as well as emergency funding & education.  Eastern Snouts typically works with smaller companion breeds.

Farm Sanctuary Adoption Network

The Farm Sanctuary Adoption Network provides farm animal placement assistance (typically for larger farm pigs and other farm animals), including screening for potential adopters.

Pig Placement Network

The Pig Placement Network offers consultation and education for pig guardians and can assist with placing a pig into a suitable and loving home. Pig Placement Network works with smaller companion pig breeds.
